A mind caught between
code and cinema

I'm Himesh — an undergraduate student at Informatics College Pokhara, pursuing a BSc Hons in Computing. I spend my days debugging programs and my nights dreaming in frames.

Growing up in Pokhara, a city that exists somewhere between mountain silence and lake reflection, I've always felt that life is too layered to be explained by logic alone. That feeling is what pulled me toward art — and eventually, toward filmmaking.

There's something about the way a camera can hold a moment hostage — freeze a glance, a shadow, a breath — that feels like the most honest language I know. I want to tell stories that live in the in-between: not grand epics, but quiet human truths.

When I'm not writing code or studying for exams, I'm writing poems, watching films obsessively, chasing light at golden hour, or simply sitting by Phewa Lake wondering what it would look like on a 16mm roll.

I believe the best artists are also curious technologists, and the best engineers are always secretly poets. I'm trying to be both.
